Meyenberg also sells powered and evaporated that is SCD legal... just

reconstitue with water... I have alot of powered right now... more conveinent,

I have the name right) at the store. It seemed to go bad within 3 days

of opening it (well before the sell by date). Is this consistent with

others' experiences?

It depends how old the goat milk really is...you can't tell how old the milk is

on the shelf. There is no hard and fast rule. What you can do is if you plan to

open a carton and not use it all quickly, you can freeze whatever portion you

need to save for making future yogurt, thus slowing microbial reproduction.

I don't open mine until ready to make yoghurt, but I have found it to

be good even beyond the expiration date. Maybe you got some that had

been improperly stored.
