Hey July 12th MGB's How are you all feeling?

I'm feeling fine - I've kept everything down (which is real good news to

me) I weighed 320 lbs at Clinic July 11th Surgery July 12th and today I

weigh 295. I went back to work yesterday with no problems. I have a

carnation instant breakfast every morning with a banana, strawberries,

and protein powder in them with skim milk, egg drop soup for lunch, a

yogurt at 3 pm and vegetable soup with some mashed potatoes for dinner.

Gatorade is my new drink of choice. I have to add an Equal to it but

I'm living rather well without Diet Pepsi I really don't feel deprived

at all. I didn't even have caffeine withdrawals after the surgery

like I thought I would. It's nice not having night sweats, cotton

mouth, swelled fingers and feet. My stomach gurgles if I drink my

water a little too fast, hehehe but that's about all thats different.

I'm so thrilled to be on the other side with different plumbing. Being

Diabetic it seemed like all I did was drink 32 oz. drinks and go to the

bathroom all the time, like kinda in and out. But I just cant drink

that much anymore and I'm not in the bathroom all the time - believe me,

thats really different. AND I've slept through the night without

getting up either. YEAH

My vision has cleared, I can see again. I just feel better already.

Thank you Dr. Rutledge, I think you are the greatest. Easy surgery,

easy recovery, it can't get any better than that!
