Persistent nausea...............upper GI

hi all:

Well I had the upper GI today because I am nauseated every morning

with " ulcer like " symptoms. The PA that did it said the only thing

he saw was a small sliding hiatal hernia. Well I have had that for

25 years and I don't really think that is it. Last year when I had

an endoscopy my stomach was red and raw just short of having an

ulcer and it feels the same.

I called the GI doc and told the receptionist the " preliminary

findings " at least until the actual radiologist reads it. Neither

the doc nor the nurse are there today and will call me Monday. My

guess is I am headed for the upper endoscopy again. Probably should

have done that to start with........it was my own choice.

Question....although I think I know the answer.........can you have

just persistent nausea, no pain, nothing, just the persistent

nausea? The reason I am asking is that if this is my pancreas, then

it is getting worse. I usually don't have alot of pain or nausea,

only in acute attacks now but this is all the time, especially in

the morning better when I eat. That is why it sounds like an ulcer.

Just blowing off steam here and hoping this is NOT the pancreatitis.

Take care

Kaye
