> I have a quick question. I do not generally experience nausea

with my CP. Once in a while I feel slightly nauseated but it

passes very fast, and it is very rare that it happens. I woke up

today and felt really queasy. It continued all day. And now I am

sitting here in pain and very queasy. I guess my question is for

those of you who experience the nausea, have you always had

the nausea with your CP?

If it continues is there something (other than perscription drugs)

that any of you can recommend to help with it?

Marisa,

The nausea issue seems to be different with everyone. Some

folks have it all the time, YUCK, and some not at all, or only when

they are having a really bad episode. Before I was diagnosed, I

used to have it quite a bit, and then once I started on enzymes

and medication, it was rare for a year or so.

Then last year I started getting really mild cases of it off and on.

Whenever I get nauseated now, I know I'm headed for a bad

attack.

A great home ready is fresh ginger. Take a thin slice of it and

stick it between your teeth and gums, or under your tongue. It

works great. Or you could try sucking on ginger candies, or

drinking ginger ale. I used to drink a glass of ginger ale every

night before dinner.....my variation of a pre-dinner cocktail, haha!

Can't do it anymore because I can't stand the diet ginger ale, but

it worked well to dispell any stomach queasiness.

Hope this helps.

With hope and prayers,

Heidi
