Guest guest
Re the nausea that comes with CP, when it does come. I have found that chewing on a small amount of raw ginger really helps. Hope it works for you, Marisa. Take care - Anita
Guest guest
Marisa, I didn't used to get quesy unless I was in a lot of pain and didn't do much vomiting unless in an acute attack. I still don't vomit much, but in the past 2 years I've been having more and more problems with nausea. I use both prescription drugs and aromatherapy to handle my nausea. The aromatherapy works best, but you have to be inhaling the scent 24/7 to be effective on a long-term basis. I just can't do that every second of every day. So I use the aromatherapy until the prescription drugs take over (takes about 30-40 minutes before it starts to help). That way at least I'm not risking throwing up the pills I have just taken for a spat of nausea. The system works well most of the time. I get my aromatherapy from a specific person who has two different versions of nausea aromatherapy. She has one for general nausea and one for morning sickness. The one I use is the one for morning sickness. If you want the name, phone number and email address of the person, let me know and I'll send you the information.
