Guest guest
Hi Again Donna, Well, I read the Carafate instructions as an hour before and an hour after, so nothing for an hour before taking it and nothing for a hour after. It did say, I think that you could go to a half hour. I didn't even drink water, and yes, it was a pain. I tried to take some at 11 PM, 5 AM, 11 AM, 5 PM. I tried to stay busy so that the hours would pass. At 3 weeks I went to the half hour before and a half hour after, a whole lot easier. For the smoothies, you can throw in any fruit, juice and the supplements and ice to zoom them up. Glad all's well, in C. H.

Is water the only thing > we > can drink, if anything, during this time? > Carafate: I found the easiest way to deal with this was to take it as soon as my feet hit the floor in the morning and last thing at night. THEN... only two more times during the day. I didn't eat right before or right after, most times, for at least an hour. That makes mid morning and mid afternoon ideal times too.
