Guest guest
Double DeltaF508 is often, not always, associated with the more severe presentations of cystic fibrosis--but not always, not always especially with only one copy--I am living proof! Probably another typo or something, though my copy of the sent post does not look that grim. Sorry! n Rojas, wcf, 65, mom of 3, youngest wcf, one in the military, and this is one rattled MOM with one copy of DeltaF508, one copy of R1126X, and a few fragments of R4553X, who clearly is not in extremis! The oldest surviving cf patient recoreded in the USA, 79, years old is double deltaf508, was diagnosed, I think, at 52, and is still with us. If I goofed in my post, I apologize; my copy of it looks ok to me. I have to get back to neurotically worrying about this war as one of my kids is in the military. Please forgive me if I stated the case incorrectly; go ask a REAL doctor!!!!! Love to all at cfparents, n Rojas, the frustrated Military MOM
