Hi everyone. I just wanted to tell ya all that Nick and I have come to an

understanding off list. Believe it or not, he can be very nice when he wants

to be!

:-) I thank for coming to my aide. I explain to AJ that I

certainly was not wanting to stir up any pot, as I got in a mess the first

time I posted asking others not to stir up pots! I agree that we should be

So Thankful for our listowners, and and for the intelligent

people who are on this list. I have learned the most from this list above

all others. In fact, I thought it was so valueable I gave information on it

to a state rep who is going to go to bat for wls in OH.

Having said all of that, I think we have to keep in mind that we can " read "

things into a post and maybe it depends on our moods at the time we read them

how we take them. We can do that with personal email, too. Sometimes when

one is expressing teasing (Nick?) we can take it as sarcasm or anger.

Sometimes when one is expressing astonishment (which is what I was

expressing) it can be taken as rude.

So, we have to remember that. I think and just want us to

keep sharing our thoughts, concerns, educations on DS so we can all benefit

and they don't want the list to blow up with comments and answering comments

and comments again said only to " put someone in their place. "

I am amazed at the high level of intelligent people on this list. Maybe we

all had to develop that side of ourselves to battle with weight issue during

our lives, I don't know. But we sure have some intelligent and articulate

people here, who I appreciate bring their high lofty ideas to a level I can

understand.

Carole: I'm so glad you and Nick came to an understanding! :)

This is SO true~ and everyone is susceptible to this, I think. :) Things

can get heated and people can be misunderstood easily. Sarcasm is difficult

to read online, especially in a sensitive situation.

Good statement. I think everyone should feel free to express their opinions,

even if they fear/suspect they may not be agreed with. In no way do I want

anyone to supress their thoughts and feelings about something and we are NOT

going to erase anyone's posts nor do we want to 'kick anyone out'. :):) It

is best not to jump to conclusions but also good to try to express oneself as

clearly as possible so as not to be misinterpreted, I guess. I don't want to

cramp anyone's style here, just agreeing with what Carol said. :)

all the best,

,

You wrote, " OK, is it just me or does everyone get just as confused as I do

when

there are responses to digests in the daily digest? " I know. I am working

with new comers to help them understand how to post without this happening. This

has caused Yahoo to truncate the digest recently. I apologize for the

inconvenience it has caused you.
