Guest guest
Associated Grocers, it's a distributor to smaller grocery stores and convenience stores. My husband sells to them and he thinks they are a distributor for Shurfine, too. We have AG supplied stores in New England, but Lucy is in California (is that right?) and she can get Daisy brand, too. Lucy said to be careful because Daisy also makes a sugar cured bacon, but that if the store carries that, they can order the honey cured, too. She also said it comes in " standard " and " big buy " and both are good. She said the " big buy " is cheaper and she prefers it. I just did a search on AG and came up with an AG in NW U.S. and one in Canada. I emailed the AG in my state, Maine, and will let you know if I find anything out. Lucy was probably referring to the AG in the Northwest (and I am not sure if it's the same company as the one in Maine) , but I know I've seen Daisy brand bacon somewhere around us. I'll go do a search on Daisy bacon and let you know what I find. It does have nitrates, though. <sigh> Patty T dh, ulcerative colitis since '87 Matt (17) , uc since '01 Luke (7), asd whole family new to SCD > That sounds great.
