Guest guest
Janet, I would love to guide you to this book, After all it is the man that saved Judy, Elaine's daughter, inspiring Elaine to keep this " SCD " solution alive, after Dr. Haas died....this is why she went back to school so that it would make since to her. And then she wrote her BTVC books. " Management of Celiac Disease " By S.V. Haas and his son M.P. Haas. Published by J.B. Lippincott Co., Philadelphia Published 1951. You can get it by doing a inter-library loan from most medical school libraries. They can send it to your local public library and you too can read it. Hope this helps, Antoinette (2 mo scd entire family, after trying everything under the son that did not work...this does...thank God for S.V. Haas and Elaine!) a.. Guest guest
IMHO, BTVC is good, but Gut and Psychology Syndrome by Natasha -McBride, MD ( ISBN # 0-9548520-0-1) is even more applicable for most of us on this list. It's sort of lke Pecanbread... has already been customized and tailored for us. Agape, all4mytwo wrote: Antoinette, Could you give me the title of the book by Dr Haas and/or ISBN #? I would like to try to get it to read also- I (reluctantly!) loaned out my copy of BTVC already. I can already see I need to buy about 6 copies of BTVC to keep in circulation and still have one for myself! Thanks! Janet, mom to Cody- 5 yrs- SCD since 4-17-06- multi food allergies- doing very very well on SCD! > I am personally reading Dr. Haas book on celiac disease. ... Have you truly read his book. I got it from inter library loan from the Medical Library in Denver.
