Guest guest
Once again there is that hope back in me that I might make it again without too much of an evasive surgery. The procedure is called..Puestow Procedure. ...............hugs to everyone Paget Paget, I think you meant " invasive " here, and I did want to caution you that this IS a major surgery and requires much consideration. This link will tell you about it, and I have others, if you need them. http://www.debakeydepartmentofsurgery.org/home/content.cfm? proc_name=puestow+procedure & content_id=272 The reason I had this information is that this surgery was once mentioned by the doctor I fired. Fortunately my new GI, when I mentioned this, said that it was not a procedure that would ever be of benefit for me and my situation. He said this was good, because it was " highly invasive " and full recovery was very long. I hope you will learn all the facts that you can about it, and find someone else who has had the procedure before you make any final decisions. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
