Guest guest
Hi - Re the MS Contin you're on. If I'm right, that's the slow release morphine. Everything I've read about pancreatitis says that morphine is contraindicated because it can cause the sphincter to spasm. Have you tried Demerol? Guest guest
Anita, I haven't tried Demerol yet but right now the MS Contin is working. As long as it is working I am going to keep taking. I am sure that after the surgery they will probably change it I am not sure. I use to have Demerol in the hospital but now all I take is Dilauid. I don't know what they are going to give me in the hospital but I am praying that this surgery will work. Thanks for asking about it. in Sumter, SC anilyn1@... wrote: > Hi - Re the MS Contin you're on. If I'm right, that's the slow > release > morphine.
