Guest guest
I am sorry you are so easily upset .My 21 year old does not have CF he is married and a father of 2 .My 19 year old with cf would never tell me he would not have wanted to be born. And he loves his 5 year old sister w/cf .My 18 year old with ADHD would not be here,my 16 year old soccer loving cheerleading daughter would not be here.My 9 year old Math loving son,My 8 year old daughter who loves to read to her 5year old sister and 3 year old brother none of them would be here.W hy would you deprive any of these beautiful children LIFE because of a STUPID disease .I am shocked at your choice for ME and MY family. I decided a long time ago to have a large family I also decided to be a stay at home Mama.23 years ago I was told I had a 30% chance of ever getting pregnant if I had listened to any of the doctors I would never have had any children.I have had 12 miscarriages and I am a Mother of 8 wonderful people 2 have cf ,5 carry the cf gene ,these 7 also carry their Dads onian translocation, and 1 is a miracle she carries nothing.I am personally a cervical cancer survivor and I have had 3 babies since surgery in 1993.During cancer treatment I was exposed to TB.Life Never gives you perfection I don't expect it .CF is not the end of the world ! I was given the care of the lives by a higher power than you for which I am thankful .It seems as if you have forgotten we are ALL here to help not judge.I am truly sorry that CF has scared you so badly that you would turn on those who have been here for a long time and offer help from the heart.Have you ever talked to n? She is 60+ with CF and she has 3 kids 1wcf. I personally would never have prenatal testing done as it is invasive and it increases the risk of miscarriage which I already had a problem with as if testing during my pregnancy would have changed anything as I don't personally believe in abortion it is not for me .But it is NOT my job to judge anyone who feels like they can't deal with life.DNA testing was not available until after I had 4 children.
