Guest guest
Hi all; My name is Mike, I am 63 year old and I have just been diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis. I also have other medical conditions that are associated with it; Hepatitis B Gall stone in duct to liver and in pancreaus Liver disease I have been in the hospital twice this year with severe abdominal pains. The first time they removed gall stones from my pancreaus. The second time, they found out that they did not remove them all. All they did was keep me off of food for three days and on pain meds. The doctor told me there was nothing more that he could do, and discharged me. I am currently going through the standard insurance bs in order to go to see another doctor for a second opinion. The only thing my current doctor has done is prescribe valium for depression as this is likely to get serious. Are there any other members on this board that have a similar list of ailiments? What are you doing to treat it? Any diet tips, good websights, and/or information would be greatly appreciated. I have been a wreck over this and have not gotten much info from my current doctor. Thanks Mike
