Guest guest
I used to have a little collection of silica gel packets (you never know when the urge to nibble is going to strike), but I lost them. So I went searching for a cheap way to get more. I like the idea of homemade " cooler bandanas; you get to choose your own fabric that way. Anyway, it turns out silica gel is also used in gardening, and ny's Seeds sells a 1 pound container of the stuff for around $12 including shipping. (I don't know if the powder needs to be wrapped in something other than fabric before sewing it into the bandana, however.) Still looking for a better deal, I stumbled across this gem--- Jillian, you'll love this!---this website has silica gel meant to be ingested! http://www.iherb.com/silica.html I was wondering if anyone here knows the reasoning behind taking silica gel as a dietary supplement. ~Jan > Those granules in the cooler bandannas are silica gel, the stuff they > put in the little paper packets that come in boxes of new shoes ( " Do > not eat!
