Guest guest
i get the same thing, joe. in the morning my skin looks so nice and pink, almost pale....but as the day progresses, so does the red blotchiness of rosacea around my nose and cheeks. i'm not sure why this progression happens either, but i'm glad there is someone else that " goes through " the same frustrating routine. tim
Guest guest
Hi, my opinion is there aren't any triggers at night, like for me also. But during the day, heat, elements, stress, etc. begin the rosacea process. You may want to try Dr. Sy's Zinco cream. It is a sunblock and keeps redness down. She has tinted and nontinted creams. I think her website is in the Bookmark area. > i get the same thing, joe. in the morning my skin looks so nice and pink, > almost pale....but as the day progresses, so does the red blotchiness of > rosacea around my nose and cheeks. i'm not sure why this progression happens > either, but i'm glad there is someone else that " goes through " the same > frustrating routine. > > tim > > >
Guest guest
Maybe I'm not understanding the term " triggers, " but about the only time I get redness AND the pustules is in the morning, and only on the side of my face that was against the pillow. I used to think it was contact dermatitis and that I just needed to change my laundry detergent or fabric softener. But it seems to be from that cheek getting overheated (?). Oddly enough this happens in the winter; it doesn't happen now that the weather is warm. So I think dry air has something to do with it too. Other people here have talked about getting cooling pillows ( " Chillos " or something like that) so I'm wondering if they are going to bed already red, and don't want to make it worse, or are they trying to avoid getting red (the way I do). ~Jan > > i get the same thing, joe. in the morning my skin looks so nice > and pink, > > almost pale....but as the day progresses, so does the red > blotchiness of > > rosacea around my nose and cheeks. i'm not sure why this > progression happens > > either, but i'm glad there is someone else that " goes through " the > same > > frustrating routine. > > > > tim > > > > > >
