vomiting may not be a symptom of tmj

but

sometimes people throw up due to severe pain

dehydration

unbearable stress

etc.

all of which angie might have been experiencing at that point ...

angie, glad you're doing a little better!

hang in there.

I agree with the TMJ theory sounding fishy. I have TMJ and am fortunate to

have a dentist who also has it. Jaw fatigue and mis-aligned bite are typical

symptoms, not vomiting. I think someone was way off base!

experience!!! Wow...

I do have to say that the theory of TMJ sounds fishy...why would that

cause you to pass out and vomit??? I have TMJ myself...the most pain

it has caused me is ear aches and clicking at the jaw joint. TMJ

stands for Temporal Mandibular Joint Syndrome. It is soooo

frustrating not being able to get a straight answer from doctors

these days...I do not have faith in them anymore and haven't for a

long time. I, myself, have found ways to reduce redness and papules

on my skin WITHOUT doctors help. Pretty sad...

I hate to put a negative spin to this email, but I feel your

frustration and hate for people to have to go through all the stuff

you did. Sorry to hear about it and I hope things go smoother for

you...

i could be re-evaluated in a week. pissed dad off...threatened to

at this point i'm vomiting. have not slept or eaten in 5 days. weak

and dizzy. he prescribes vicodin. gets on phone with chief of

dermatology...says rosacea doesn't do this...

incredible, deep red all over face, vomiting. my brother and father

put me in car to take to ER. just after leaving i vomit fluid and

pass out.

dehydrated...couldn't eat for 6 days....had a hard time breathing

because of the swelling, could not answer simple questions. the

oxygen they gave me helped.

something. something was at 121 just laying down...guessing my heart

rate. blood pressure was to high, blood sugar i think they said was

90...don't know if that is normal or not.

now, mouth swollen shut. my body sucked two IV bags dry, 3 shots of

demerol still did not take my pain away. thankfully they put me out

and let me sleep in the ER.
