Hi Debbie,

You and I have talked about CIGNA before. I hope you've won your

appeal by now. One clause the insurance company had in the e-mail

they sent me prior to submitting the request for pre-authorization

was:

In addition to the minimum weight requirements, there must be

history and documentation submitted and reviewed supporting

previous weight loss attempts with active participation and

reasonable compliance in at least three professionally supervised

weight loss programs for a minimum of twelve weeks in each program.

At least one of the programs should have included weigh-ins on a

regular basis.

I'm not one to save a lot of info from my past. How did you get this

info together?
