, Can you handle the Lean Cusines okay? I eat them two or

three days a week now at work and I love them. They are also

convenient, quick, etc. I, for some reason, thought we couldn't have

them after surgery. Maybe the size ofthem. Do you eat a whole one?

Congratulations on the weight loss. I'm still yan-yanning with bcbs.

Hope to have surgery soon!

Hi Dinah -

I just started eating lean cusines for lunch last week - so far I've had

four and out of that I was only able to finish one. (One was gross and I

threw it away, and the other two I could only eat about 1/2 of.) One of my

big problems before

MGB was that I ate very little during the day, and by the time I got home

from work I was starving and would " graze " in the kitchen before dinner and

after dinner and right up until bed time - NOT GOOD! So now I'm trying to

stick to three regular meals and a couple of snacks between so I can break

this bad habit forever. The lean cuisines are perfect for work, and I bring

a yogurt and fruit and crackers to snack on and this seems to be working for

me because even though I feel like I'm eating SO MUCH - I've lost 32 pounds

since my surgery on 6/7. I also joined a gym and work out with a trainer

(she works in my doctors office and when she found out I had the MGB she

offered to train me and I accepted gratefully!) so I also think the workouts

three times a week are helping tremendously with the weight loss. (My body

has no idea who this new person is running the show now - but I think it's

slowly getting used to these big lifestyle changes!!)

Anyway - for anyone else interested, so far my favorite lean cuisine is the

chicken carbonara-YUM, and the one I thought was gross was lemon pepper

fetuccini w/chicken-too lemony-YUCK.

Good luck with the insurance!

M.
