for those who get random itchy bumps on their face which resemble

little bug bites , do yours come and go, lasting maybe 24 hours

before going away by themselves? (this is me -- plus i will only have

1 or 2 at a time usually, if any) or do they stay for several

days/weeks at a time?

im trying to figure out if the itchy bumps are a manifestation of

allergies alongside the rosacea, or if its purely rosacea-related.

For years I thought my itchy bumps were from certain foods. It turns

out they were from my skin becoming allergic or sensitive to an

ingredient in my makeup and many makeups/skin products. I did not

think it was skin products because I had been using the same thing

for years without problems. I then learned about contact dermatitis

and that skin can react to products after days, weeks, or even years

after use. So, I stopped using them and they went away! I am fine

with noritate, my face wash (oil of olay foaming face wash for

sensitive skin), and my homemade powder makeup/sunscreen.

I used to get large purplish itchy bumps that

resembled bug bites on my face. They would last

approximately 12 hours or so. Then, I found out quite

by accident that they were an allergic reaction to

foundation that I was wearing. After that, whenever a

new bump appeared, I began to notice that I had used a

" new " product on my face. Now, I rarely try new

products and I rarely have those bumps. My rosacea is

much easier to tolerate.

Good luck.
