Guest guest
Hello all, I am the one who suggested Connie post this question here bc of the extensive and continuously updated supplement list that is kept for the children. I just want to clarify that it is only in Canada that this product is being " replaced " . Lucy still gets the old Lyo-san yogurt & acidophilus caps from her U.S. distributor. Both Connie and I have been told that they can no longer sell it in Canada due to the need for a new market licence and new labeling laws issued by Health Canada. They say this is it's replacement, but nothing specific about the different strains, as they relate to Elaine's criteria. I just wanted to clarify that for most of you in the U.S, you will not see this " replacement " offered. I thought specifically that Sheila or Jody would know what's up with what they are now offering in Canada. Best wishes to all, Suzan PS. I will be out of town for almost a week so may miss the reply and would appreciate if any replies could be cc'ed to my personal email address. Also, if no one here knows of this new product, I realise that the Healing Crow Yahoo group has quite a few " experts " as well, Connie, as they use some other forms of fermentation judiciously, but will make a clear distinction between the basic SCdiet and anything new or experimental. The listowner, Seth, is very knowledgeable, as are many people on that list. But it is not strictly SCD - is for people who feel the need to experiment even further for total healing. I ordered Lyo-San Yogurt and Acidophilus capsules and they sent me back a message saying that it is now called Probioflor. I went ahead and ordered them and here is a list of the ingredients. Medicinal Ingredients: Each capsule contains 2 billion Lactobacillis rhamnosus, 8.4 million Streptococcus thermophilus and 5.6 million Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus. Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Methylene chloride, acetone, gelatin, cellulose acetate, phtalate, diethyl phtalate, sodium lauryl sulfate. I'd would appreciate if anyone could shed some light/if this stuff is legal or not. Thanks alot.
