Guest guest
Last Post by Kelli: Yeah I think it is important to not feel alone (smile). I have to say, doing the diet makes everyone around me crazy and question me and my parenting. It feels really lonely sometimes........ Dear Kelli and to all, We try to concentrate on the good.. we honestly make family gratitude lists together...it helps......still get consumed though by the " lonely " feeling sometimes.......because of ASD/Celiac Disease we have learned who are " true " friends are......those who do not scoff us......sadly to say...many have vanished (more than not!)....when you can't eat like they do...people often disappear...don't know certain why? .....but you know...the ones that stick around are the ones that we needed in our lives anyways! The ones that embrace us for who we are and help us to heal our bodies in the way we have chosen.....helping us to participate at B-day parties and outings safely...the ones that make it easier for us to be who we are....the ones who are helping us to heal our children! If you do not have a person like this in your life...pray and they shall come to you....God is good...he knows that we are doing the right thing...and doesn't want any of us to be lonely! And always remember the friends and support of this serve....we " aren't chopped liver! " SMILE! Those who question are parenting...should be told about some of the testimonies! Share a few of them! Show them the reasoning around what you are doing and how it works....feel confident in what you are doing...and show it in your stature and face...and attitude. This always gets them! Some times I think we show too much doubt in our face....and often looked consumed by " self pity " ....I know...I did this at first....now I try to look PROUD and confident! Sincerely, Antoinette (ASD Celiac, entire family with problems related to a damaged gut...ASD and more...and healing the SCD way!) --
