Guest guest
Hi I know that I look at my skin too much. I often use a magnifying mirror and perhaps I would not even notice things if I were not so critical of the way my skin looks. Okay, I will try to explain. I wash with a gentle cleanser once a day, splash with filtered water in the AM, I use jojoba oil and/or emu on occasion. I use a gentle moisturizer ( complex 15, the neutrogena, the Toleriane, the one from Dr. Sy, cetaphil ) it looks smooth and even. But when I apply a liquid foundation, I can see that the foundation does not go on smoothly. It's like the surface of my skin is all separated . The foundation clumps up on spots where there seems to be a build up of something. Do you think that it is the moisturizer which has not been completely absorbed and when the foundation goes on, it kinda balls up. I wait for at least 30 minutes. Could it be that the moisturizer is not heavy enough to flatten down the skin cells and keepthem hydrated? or is this a symptom of an very irritated skin surface thanks to rosacea's activity. If I look at my skin, it does not look red and irritated. I am at a loss here. I would certainly appreciate your thoughts or suggestions for an approach to help me narrow down the problem. I am guilty in the past of slathering on stuff and hoping that something works. I do have problems with sebderm but that is only on my forehead and brows so I know what that looks like.
