Guest guest
Hi , I read where you would be having the pancreas surgery in Nov near the time Keri is. I wish you the best of luck in your surgery and hope to hear that all goes well for you. I think it is so great that the two of you will be in at the same time. You will be able to talk and compare. Keri is a sweet person and I am sure you will both do fine. I doubt that you know me, or why I am in this group, but I am also from Indiana, just south of Terre Haute, and my daughter is also 34 and has pancreatitis also. She is very ill, but has lost all will to live and wont seek another Dr or try any help of any kind. She has been ill over 5 yrs now and her situation seems to worsen daily. She has 2 young children also that she has taken out of school and their lifes are being ruined also. I went over there yesterday and pounded for 15 minutes trying to get in to see her, but she wont let anyone in nor talk to anyone. That is how bad her situation is and how much of a depression she is in. I wish it was possible for you to talk to her, perhaps knowing someone her own age in the same area would help her. I have taken all kinds of information to her on this surgery, hoping it mite spark her interest into trying to have it. I would never tell her to do it, that is her decision but I wont stop trying to tell her of anything I learn or give her any Info that I can get on the pancreas. I wanted to say hi to you and wish you the best, and hope to hear from you. With fondest wishes, Jean
