Hey

I had hotdogs and a cookie today...LOL.......I really really enjoyed the

cookie...LOL

They finally ended up bronching me on Monday to suck out some of the

infection. I was so full of secretions they couldn't clear the infection out of

them.

This is my second lung lavage since October. I was actually thinking I

wouldn't be as full as I was in October but this time both my right and left

lungs

were completely full. Unlike last time when my pitiful right lung was the

culprit of it all. He couldn't believe how dang full I was. But it actually

helped

out quite a bit.

I am still coughing up mouthfulls 24/7 but at least I am not gasping and have

my voice back...and the bleeding has stopped.

I am still running fevers but I have begun to believe I will never not run

them....LOL

As long as it doesn't go over 102 I seem to be ok.

I am just whipped though.......I wanted to try some prednisone....or better

yet needed to use some but didn't b/c I didn't want to gain anymore weight. I

gained just 5 lbs of fluid in 4 days ! ! ! ! Im the human sponge...LOL

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh................anyways.....I just

wish I could get rid of this cough. It just keeps coming and coming. I am

usually pretty good about supressing my cough...especially when I am trying to

sleep but this time it just won't let me. All night long......

Anyways I have a week of Levaquin and Ceftaz left......

One morning though the weirdest thing happened. I literally woke up in one

huge cramp. My fingers were like claws and my legs and stomach and neck were so

cramped up I couldn't move...then of course I started throwing up.

I was on IV fluids so I doubt I was dehydrated.....

I also ended up on one of those irritating Venimasks.....The poor nurse

didn't realize though that you cannot attach a humidifier to the 02

masks.....BOOM......sterile water everywhere.....hehehe........we gave up on the

mask and

went for the cannula.....7L up the nose really hurts ! ! ! !

It seems that when I went to the ER for a spider bite I picked up a nasty

case of H. Flu. When my lungs started to bleed it just irrritated my lungs to no

end. For some reason when I get H. FLu it usually does a number on me...worse

than when I had MRSA pneumonia even. I used to get it and end up in the

hospital every couple of months when I was younger but this is the first time

had it in years......I hope this isn't a new trend.

Sorry I really didn't get to let everyone know I was in this time. I was so

sick and weak I could talk and didn't even ask to check my email. I stayed in

bed most of the time. I am still so weak......
