Guest guest
Greetings everyone! I finally got to see the doctor at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. He was really nice and actually told me that all decisions were mine. How often does a doctor say that? He basically told me what I already knew. My pancreas itself is fine; there's nothing wrong with it. We think I have a sludge problem or that there's a super tiny stone floating around and won't pass. If there's a stone it hasn't shown up on a CT scan or an MRCP. I tend to think it's the sludge thing because they did see that when I had the CT done. That was in October. The doctor wants to do another one but I honestly don't think he's going to see anything. He also wants to do an ERCP to cut that sphincter thingy. I'm not fond of that idea and I told him so. He let me know that if I don't do the ERCP I would just have to deal with the occasional discomfort of attacks every now and then. At this point I'm not sure if I should go through with the CT scan or not. I'm hoping some of you might throw some advise at me. I feel horrible telling all of you that my pancreas is fine when so many of you are in constant pain. I don't have the doctors info with me at the moment so I'll post that info later on this evening. Peace,
