hello all!

and i hope you're doin well ...

about botanicals:

well, i've said before i have trouble with

every

moisturizer

recently i went to the body shop

(in canada and england i think

also the states? i don't know ...)

and

they gave me generous samples to take home and try

a rich camomile eye cream

and a soy calendula face cream

both of which are

100000000% frangrance free

and

untested on animals.

both products involve botanical ingredients

and

although it has only been a few days trial so far

the feel good

and don't irritate my skin

(they also gave me a sample of a

" soothing "

eye cream which stung like

crazy there's irony in there somewhere

a product called soothing that irritates beyond belief ...)

i can usually tell right away

something will sting when i put it on

and

shortly after i'll develop

bumps

but

well, i'll test drive for a couple weeks

(they gave me more than enough for that length of time)

and these lotions are both

relatively

inexpensive

around 10 to 15 dollars canadian

(that's what, 75 cents american??????)

anyway, just thought i share

what seem to be promising products

most of the stuff at body shop is

scented

to high hell and back

and not for sensitive skin

but

there are a couple of products there that seem okay.

best to you all!

stacey
