Guest guest
Received as email, in reply from a post about her skin care products: -=-=-= Thank you for your comments Dr Lazoff. I'm not sure what you mean about giving more factual information though. There are product descriptions, ingredients lists and detailed usage instructions on the web site, not a lot to add apart from the formulations! I partly agree with your second paragraph and it is good to meet a member of the medical profession who understands cosmetic formulations. However, cosmetic companies who use inferior raw materials in their products often use the " formulation is more important than ingredients " excuse and frankly I'm very tired of hearing it. I believe the ingredients AND the formulations are important. My products have been developed in association with Europe's foremost skincare laboratories. They are also manufactured by them. I too am unable to use Aveda, in fact it was because I could find nothing suitable that I was driven to develop my own products, as already mentioned. I have experimented with natural raw materials for many years and found only a few to be beneficial. Those are the ones I chose to use in my line. Yes, they may seem expensive. They are very costly to produce and have taken me several years to develop. However, there are only four products, they are long-lasting and provide a complete skincare system when used in conjunction with jojoba oil. The Moisturising Lotion is almost four times the size of most on the market. In addition, I offer customers support and advice via e-mail and my message boards. I don't give away samples, I sell a set for £9 including worldwide postage. My customers tell me a set lasts for 10 to 14 days. They generally then purchase a set of 50 ml products before going on to the full sizes. Samples and 50 ml sets are not available through the site but only to those who are on my mailing list. Hope that helps Best wishes, Gisele -=-=-== Gisele, thanks for you reply. My second paragraph was intended to emphasize both the purity of the ingredients and the formulations and the conditions under which they are manufactured, so it sounds like we're in total agreement. It's good to hear that your products are developed and manufactured by Europe's foremost skincare laboratories (not that I would expect you to say otherwise. <g>) Can you accommodate those who are interested in purchasing your set but are not interested in joining your mailing list?
