Thank you for all the information, Mark (casca). I'm not very

literate in using message boards but I hope I'll figure it out soon.

My fiancee was diagnosed with pancreatitis a couple of months ago,

but I suspect he's had it for years. Since I've known him, 5 years,

he hasn't been able to keep down food, he vomits at least twice a

day, he's had pain in his back and fatigue but refused to see a

doctor and when he did, he wasn't honest. Yesterday he checked

himself into detox. Yes, he is an alcoholic. I don't think he has

been substance free since he was 8 years old and he is now 39. I'm

so scared for so many reasons.

Thank you again for the sites to check out. I've felt at a loss for

so long. I look forward to learning more about this.

Take care all,

Mirella

It is great that he checked himself into detox. He needs to stay away from

alcohol at all cost. He can't even have just one drink....that is the way

that he has to look at it. It is a done deal......hopefully in detox, he

will learn to deal with his problem. He may also want to consider AA. I

have quite a few friends whom are in AA, so if he needs to speak with

someone, please let me know and I can put him in contact with someone.

I hope this finds you and yours well

Mark
