Guest guest
Hello, I just recently joined this group, and many people have spoken of the Photoderm procedure. Does anyone know of a physician in the Boston, MA area (or a facility) that specializes in this? Also, can it help ocular rosacea (be used around the eyes). Additionally, if many capillaries are removed, does the skin react worse in the heat and cold? I get overall redness, but the worst is in the winter, my nose gets freezing cold and starts paining me and turns BRILLIANT red before the rest of my face (it is hypersensitive). What would cause the pain and how can I treat it? Also, the summer brings general redness due to heat, and extreme (oil-slick) greasiness on face that is NOT regular sweat. Any ideas for treatment, and how the Photoderm would affect or not affect these issues? I have an auto-immune disorder and I heard that Photoderm was unsafe with this? Also, I cannot use antibiotics for the rosacea (and ocular) because of the disorder Any help would be greatly appreciated! ---------------------------------
