Guest guest
Hi, I had a broken filling while I was pregnant and wanted to find a doctor who would respect my need to minimize mercury exposure. I found an organization that seeks to promote mercury-free dentistry. Here is their web-site http://www.iaomt.org/. I sent them an e-mail inquiring about dentsist in my area. They were quite nice and responded with a list of dentists. I found a great one (although, as you say, quite expensive). I don't have dental coverage and some dental insurance won't cover white fillings on back teeth. But sometimes you just have to " bite the bullet " . I still have a mouthfull of amalgam and removing them at a snails pace. Which is not a bad thing either. Your body will still need to do some detox after each removal. My dentist gave me a list of supplements to take that would help my body deal with and eliminate the mercury. These are natural supplements like vit C in mega doses and MSM etc. Not actual chelating agents. Hope this is helpful to anyone out there concerned about amalgam fillings! (still awaiting my book, but reading here nonetheless)
