Guest guest
Hello listmates, I am Leigh Anne, mother to 3 year old ASD son and 11 month old daughter. To make a long story short, I was on antibiotics daily for 7 years! Crazy, I know. Plus I have a mouthful of amalgam fillings. My immune system, and therefore the immune systems of my two children, is very weak. Both have lots of tummy issues. But the primary problem is...we have yeast. Some sort of super strain of candida. Both kids have yeast diaper rash, yeast BM's. My dh and I have yeast issues too. I have read BTVC and Elaine does mention the diet as a candida treatment. But I'm worried about the fruit and the honey. If I eliminate the fruit and the honey, my son is limited to eating meat and vegetables. (He can't tolerate dairy or nuts yet, he can have a little egg but not daily). He is tall and very very skinny. He can't afford to lose more than a pound. The only way he currently eats veggies is through the juicer. My dd is breastfed, and she is a bit stockier, so she could do okay on just meat and veg. Candida success stories anybody? Ideas for keeping weight on a very skinny little boy? Best, Leigh Anne
