arggh, my yogurt starter has sugar in it

I was just thrilled my yogurt maker arrived and I had ordered some

starter with it. Well, it has sucrose in it.

So I need to get some starter someplace else. Any recommendations? And

if I am making goat yogurt, is there a special starter for that? I was

going to use the commercial goat yogurt I've been eating but it has

tapoica in it.

It seems like I saw something on this issue somewhere but can't

remember where.
