Hello, my name is . I am 29 years old and have 4 girls, ages

3,6,8 and 11. I have been fighting with my pancreas since 1994. The

first time I got it I was pregnant with 2nd child, then with 3rd

child in 1997. After that i've had it once every year until 2000.

Then I had it every 6 months and this past year i've had it every 2

months. I had my gall bladder out in 1991. I had a sphinterotomy in

2000 after I had my last child. I think it made me worse. My DR

says he doesnt know why I have it, I dont drink or do drugs and noone

in my family has it. Now I hurt every day and take either

hydrocodone or darvocet, the first makes me mean to kids and the

second I dont feel anything at all. SO... I have no insurance and

think my DR really does'nt want to mess with me, although I have to

say his nurse is wonderful and she has gotten me in to see him for

free once. They say the don't mind seeing me, but I guess I just

feel funny about it because nothing seems to really get done. Here

lately my lipase and amylase levels have only been about 100 higher

than it should be (which is normal for my body) I still have the

terrible pain. The levels used to be alot higher but

not this past year. Thank you all for being there, i'm sorry if I

came off sounding like a sob story.
