Guest guest
, glad to hear that all went well with the tonsillectomy. Remind him that often times the 3rd day following surgery is the most difficult day. Staying well hydrated is probably the main thing he can do to speed up the healing time. My dad and stepmom are major into golf. They play several times a week at the local country club and then they go on golf trips just about every month. My dad was a very bad workaholic until he got so involved in golf. I think the golf has been very good for him and has helped him to cut way bakc on the number of hours he works. I really do enjoy both my daughter, Nikki-21, and my stepdaughter, -19. We are all very close and it is fun to have such great girls to do 'girl things' with. However, there are pros and cons to having boys or girls. When girls hit puberty and the hormones kick in, life can be quite trying with their mood shifting with the wind! We all survived the tough teen years, but sometimes I wasn't sure that we would! My sis snd brother-in-law adopted my sis's grandson when he was 2. He's now 7 and he is such a neat kid. I try to have him onvernight at least once a month and I really am enjoying 'boy things' with him. He just began playing football and I'm looking forward to going to see his games. He is really into dinosaurs, bugs, and creatures. He is more knowledgeable on those things than any adult I know. So, with my nephew, I'm getting to experience all the fun 'boy things'. Hope all is well with you and that your son has a speedy recovery. W
