Guest guest
Howdy Yall, Sorry I have been MIA lately, but we are in the boat business and 4th of July is our busiest time of the year...and immediately following that (on the 5th) I fell and thought I had broken the upper bone in my thigh. Come to find out, it is " just torn muscles " . Let me just say this..... " owwwwwwwwww " any way. Anywhooo, I was reading an article in the latest U.S.News magazine and it was talking about folks who have " genetically selected " a sibling in order to provide healthy umbilical cord stem cells, to be implanted in an ill child's bone marrow. Anyone here familiar with this? Does this work for panc? Does this still require anti-rejection drugs for the rest of their life? Since I have panc too........wonder if that means I would automatically pass it down to all offspring? Ok, Ok........who's the geneticist among us?? Thanks for any info or trails I might follow~ Donna Womack (Cameron's Mom) Fort Worth, TX
