Hi All,

I have been " down " for the last three days. Just when you think you are

beginning to put a few days together, BAM! you're down. My joints are hurting so

bad. I have learned from experience, if I fight these warning signs of severe

pain, and keep pushing myself, I will end up in a far worse condition, and miss

more than three days. I have been doing some grief work that surfaced

recently, and it can easily affect the physical body as well as the

emotional/spiritual self. I gave myself permission to do nothing and spent most

of the time

resting in bed.

I recently bought some new motivational, healing audiotapes, and feel renewed

and refueled. I would love to have Louise Hay, anne WIlliamson, Carolyn

Northrop, or Breathnach come to the Symposium. I am sure their

honorariums are way past what I could afford, although I think it would do more

for our

overall well-being.

We do have some great Pancreatologists speaking, however. I met with them

recently and they want a little direction for their topics, as Pancreatitis " is

just too vague. They asked if I would give them a list of questions that you

have to help them focus their talk. It doesn't matter if you are going or not,

because the information will still be helpful to you. So, please send me a list

of questions that you have. I encourage some of the new folks to use terms

that their doctors have used with you, I have read about " Smoldering

Pancreatitis " , " Necrotizing Pancreatitis " . How about pseudocysts? Specific

questions

about your ducts? or procedures? Please send them to me ASAP so I can get back

to

the doctors as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Karyn E. , RN,

Exec. Director, PAI
