Opium suppositories for SOD?

Has anyone heard of or have any experience with an opium

based suppository to stop sphincter of Oddi spasms and the

pain from the obstruction?

My new doctor believes that my obstruction is being caused by

colon spasms and that the opium will relieve both these types of

spasms. I am concerned because it is in the same class as

morphine (?) that it may actually increase the chance of Oddi

spasms . Or am I really wrong here?
