Diets/Bowel Movements: http://autismone.org/leftside.cfm?page=21 Saturday, May 27 - 9:00 am - 9:50 / 10:30 am - 11:20 **Jody Goddard Betsy Hicks Devin Houston, PhD Owens, MAIS, RA Sueson Vess Diets and bowel movements often go hand in hand. The better a child digests their food, the better the BM. Stools provide a wealth of information: color, frequency, smell, texture, and “float or sink” are some of the “tests” that provide almost immediate feedback on a diet’s effect. We will discuss the major diets, including gluten- casein-free diet (GFCF), specific carbohydrate diet (SCD), Feingold diet, low oxalate diet, and the new modified low oxalate SCD. Sharing their experiences and being guided by experts, participants will gain a broader and deeper understanding of food and digestive issues. At the AutismOne Conference in Chicago. Jody will be doing an almost 4 hour cooking demonstration. She will go through the science behind the diet, how to start the diet and demonstrate cooking several different SCD recipes. http://autismone.org/leftside.cfm?page=15 Here's a link to the conference. http://www.autismone.org Radio: http://www.autismone.org/radio/ --------------------------------- Feel free to call!
