Guest guest
: Dr. Cotton first found out EXACTLY what was causing my pancreatitis which was sphincter of Oddi dysfunction. He then proceeded with the treatments for it. I had to go several times before I had relief for any period of time. It has been three yeras since I have seen him and I have been ok from SOD spasms. He for one will hang in there and try as many times as you are willing to let him try to help you. Sometimes the first treatment, whatever that might be doesn't always help for long and he has to keep trying. I will tell you though with Dr. Cotton, there is no guess work. If he cannot see whta he is looking for, he does no therapy. It is very hard to say what he would do with you because you haven't said what is causing the pancreatitis. Dr. Cotton is originally from England. He came to Duke University Medical Center in the late 80s or early 90s and then after a few years MUSC in ton recruited him to start the Digestive Disease Center which takes care of all kinds of digestive diseases. But, his specialty is the pancreas. I would recommend him highly and I think if you go there and see him you are getting no better in the country. Hope that helps. Kaye BTW, wehre are you from?
