Guest guest
Folks, I have a neighbor who has just been diagnosed with Pancreatitis this week. She has been ill for about 3 years and has gone through the typical routine of cancer screenings, IBS tests, ulcers...... I don't know why they finally broke down and decided to do Amylase and Lipase tests.....(duh) Anywhoooooooo - what do yall suggest I take to her to give her an initial " introduction " to what she needs to know about? She is willing to do a little self-study, but is lost in the myriad of medical crap they have buried her in for the past 3 years. I don't want to inundate her with a LOT of info....but I think a few crucial informational pieces might help her to understand she is not alone. BTW, I have known her my entire life....She is 44 years old and was never sick before 3 years ago other than typical colds, etc. So that is now 4 of us in the area of a city block here. Must be in the water, ya think? Donna Womack (Cameron's Mom) Fort Worth, TX
