Guest guest
I've been on this list over six months and I have never, once, seen Walter offer any advice until yesterday, when he addressed responses to people he knew were represented by counsel, which is an ethical violation of the Rules of Responsibility. An attorney is subject to reprimand, suspension and/or disbarrment for violating these rules. This is one of several ethical rules Walter has violated and I wrote him a private email, hoping to get him to stop. As an attorney, I have a legal obligation to remind Walter of his ethical duties. I did it privately because Dr. Rutledge asked us to keep this off the list, but Walter, and you, have disregarded that request repeatedly. Not to beg the obvious, , but the only times you have posted have been to support Walter and bash the MGB. You and a couple of other names only pop up when Walter does. The other names have aol addresses (where a person gets 8 alias name email addresses) and hotmail addresses (where unlimited email addresses are free). I notice your service provider is in Mississippi. Are you, Laurie and her bile husband " friends " ? You said in your previous post that you were at the ASBS conference, when you first posted here, supporting Walter after he badmouthed the MGB and said he would not represent any MGB patients. The ASBS conference was attended by bariatric surgeons and some of their staffs and Walter, apparently. You never did answer the question about how you came to be at the ASBS conference, by the way. Now the only times Walter has posted, ever, were to bash the MGB, then a couple of snipes at me for asking him to produce some facts (which he never has done), and now suddenly writing to two of my clients. The only times you have posted have been to support Walter and snipes at me. At this point, Lindstrom has a clear conflict of interest in representing any MGB patient because of his public declarations that he thinks the MGB is " bad " and that he will not represent patients out of his " concerns " for them. He reiterated his position again today. Under the Rules of Professional ethics, he is obligated to withdraw from representing clients with whom he has a conflict of interest. Further, he is obligated to tell anyone he seeks to represent or advise about this conflict (but you'll notice he has not done that in his posts). It is also illegal in many states for attorneys to advertise, as Walter does on his emails to this list. I have never said I represent " the list " and if you had read the *private* email I sent to Walter, which he attached to his lie claiming I said I represented the list, you'd see that. But of course, you'd have to be looking. There are numerous attorneys on this list who help people and they have a track record for it that speaks for itself.
