Guest guest
, The bean soup idea came from you. It turned out tasty, wonderful and filling. Just wish the pain tranquility had lasted too....sigh. But it's back to square one. I sure do agree with you on your comments about your walk with your youngsters. Those moments are without equal, and I'm fortunate to have had so many. Funny that you should talk about mending a teddy-bear. We had to replace a couple eyes and repair several torn ears on Sebasatian when put it in the sleeping box to calm one of our new puppies many years ago. 's " thing " was teddy bears, since birth. She got one for each Christmas, and any other occasion we could think of. Stuffed ones, glass ones, bears made of metal, straw, cloth, you name it. I even put a border above the cabinets in my kitchen that is only teddy bears and daisies (my long deceased mother's favorite flower). The border has provoked a comment or two as to it's content, yet every time I look at it I'm reminded of the two women in my family I love(d) the most!!! Now all the other 100+ bears are in boxes in the attic. Too many to decorate a young professional woman's apartment, but too beloved to let go. Besides, each one has a name, and she remembers them all. (smile) Thanks for your compassion. Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep. PAI, Intl. It is the little things that are truly the most valuable, my kids and I will remember the look in that gentle creatures eyes forever, first fear, then recognizing no threat. Like the small things you and your daughter had done, mending a teddy bear, and now she is getting married >
