Guest guest
My son- 5 yrs old- SCD since 4-17-06 (jumped right in)- restarted with intro right on Sunday- has been craving bananas ever since I added them back in to help his diarrhea. He will cry if I won't give him one and will now not willingly eat his formerly loved intro soup even though I've tried making polka dot soup (egg dots made w/ straw) and wishing star soup (used mini cookie cutter) and all sorts of enticing way to have soup! Is this a sign that bananas are probably bad for him (too sweet at this point)? Or, is his body craving a needed nutrient in them. Also, he keeps waking up at night with diarrhea several times. First he will cry out like he's dying that his stomach is hurting then he'll have to rush to the bathroom. No normal BMs since Saturday. Rarely goes poop during the day- it's all at night. Kinda whiny and tired today too. But skin is beautifully clear. Last night also had wheezing attack after chicken muffins made with banana, pear and I added cinnamon and vanilla first time for several days. Feel those last two are suspect or either too many bananas. Any cures for the night time waking potty stuff or is this just die off? Thanks for any advice!
