Guest guest
I have been in communication with a firm in Switzerland which is devel oping at stage III clinical trials a vaccine for PSEUDOMONAS AURU GINOSA ISOLATES, which will help those with fewer isolates more than it will help those with many, but it will help. This has nothing to do with the current vaccines for more common bacteria causing pneumo nia and complications in the lungs, bonchial airways, etc. This is a new thing, scheduled in the usa to be released under the " orphan drug " act, as cf is a rare disease. The vaccine would also be useful in treating other lung diseases in which PA grows, and in treating burn victims at the start of injury. I already sent the link to this, so will not send it to the list again unless requested. Anyone who wants the link can email me and I will send it to you. Gasp! Love to all at cfparents, n Rojas, the perpetual ferret
