Can anyone tell me if this is a temporary thing or whether this is a permanent side effect of surgery? Thanks. K. Well I heard it is a permanant thing but you can take special bariatric formulated internal deodorant capsules at each meal and it does help. Guest guest
Dear K, I can't speak for everyone, but for me, it lasted about 2 months and then went away pretty much for good. Now, I think the bad odors come depending on what I eat, but it's not chronic like it was in those first two months. 90% of the time, I'm perfectly fine (read that no gas). Hope it works out the same for you. live each day like it's your last... love like you've never been hurt...
