Guest guest
Donna, The biggest concern for me was the carafate...You cant eat an hour before or after. So when I would wake up in the mid of night I would hit the bottle. Then again right before bed, then the other 2 were hit and miss during the day. The Prevacid also should be taken with no other drugs I took that the 2nd hour I was awake, then the Citucel and later vitamins through out the day........Once I took the prevacid I even waited a half hour before I drank the Citricell. Once you get that down and in a routine it changes(actigal) after 2 weeks is suggested by others to take with food, It never bothered me on an empty stomach this you can take any time 2 times a day...... It all seems over whelming at first but you''ll find a comfort zone I suggest you write down what you take as the day progresses, that helped me, .............That Carafate is a God send! Good Luck..... Guest guest
Although it made me feel real old, I broke down and got one of those things that are labeled Sunday through Saturday. I look like somebodies grandfather but it has really helped. I am on more meds than some others and it was fun to quit putting the prevacid in the little boxes. [obviously didn't work for the citrucel and carafate ha ha] Dr. Bill shy of ALZ Sample Schedule > Does anyone have a sample schedule for eating/medicines/supplements post-op? > I'm trying to figure out when I'm going to take all this stuff and how I'm > going to remember it! > > Thanks! > Donna > Chapel Hill > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Need a credit card? > Instant Approval and 0% intro APR with Aria! > http://click.egroups.com/1/6034/3/_/453517/_/963253793/ > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > This message is from the Mini-Gastric Bypass Mailing List at Onelist.com > Please visit our web site at http://clos.net > Get the Patient Manual at http://clos.net/get_patient_manual.htm > >
