Guest guest
To all, I've been away for some time, my apologies to any unanswered posts. Spent just shy of two weeks in the hospital back on TPN. Missed everyone, not going to attempt to catch up. I will just start anew. Still very weak. My sister is helping with my kids thank God. This attack seems to have pushed me over the cliff into full on diabetes. Hope for a pancreatectomy with islet cell transplant seems lost. I did meet a new (good) doctor. He has sent other patients to Dr Sutherland in Minnesota, wants to refer me, we'll see if it truly is too late. Even if that is the case he seems very positive about my chances at a pseudo-normal life with just a pancreatectomy. He says I should be " very concerned about the future possibility of panc cancer with my past history " and that I would be very much happier without my " little friend " the pancreas. Will stop for now hope you are all well. Hope we will all be well! Much love to you all keep your chin up!!
