Antoinette and Jody,

Is the casien rendered harmless with the cow's milk SCD yogurt and the goat's

milk SCD yogurt, or is it rendered harmless with just the goat's milk SCD

yogurt?

Jody,

Do your kids drink the Welch's grape juice and the Tropicanna OJ? How long

have they been drinking it?

Thanks

Elaine said that fermenting the milk changed thes structure of the

protein.

We do find that most kids with ASD cannot tolerate any cow's milk

products no matter their form.

Some do well with goat's milk yogurt and goat cheese.

Others are not able to tolerate any form of dairy at all.

The trick is figuring out which group your child is in.

That's why I so highly recommend going completely dairy free for quite

a while. Once the gut is stabilized and things are going well, then a

trial of a very minuscule amount of goat yogurt would be reasonable.

Start with 1/8th tsp.

I don't know of any test or indicators that help determine which kids

can tolerate these things.

It is also possible that with the addition of a strong DPP-IV enzyme

that more kids could tolerate the cow's milk and goat's milk yogurt.
