Thank you all for reaching out to welcome and include us Newbies! It

means so much to those of us who have never felt the freedom of

sharing our experiences with people who can relate and don't judge.

Many of you were kind enough to asked where I was in the journey. I

have been researching Weight Loss Surgery for about 7 months. I

fought my Ins. company for 3 months before I realized their exclusion

was firm. I chose not to seek legal representation after researching

the odds of winning. I am going to private pay and not regret one

cent of it!

My packet was mailed on 7/18/2000. I should hear any day now. I

hope to have surgery 2 weeks after Dr. R's approval. My husband is

so supportive. We will be driving up, from Orlando, for the surgery.

I feel grateful to have found Dr. Rutledge's web site and this safe

open environment! Thank you again for the outpouring.
